**Training covered the check-in procedure that will happen on the sideline in front of their own bench, with shirts tucked in and shin guards properly worn.  Also, no jewelry including friendship bracelets and bobbie pins.  Taped over jewelry will not be permitted.

Uniform colors were discussed:  Home team light tops/socks….Away team dark tops/socks.  If both teams are the same, home team changes.  If not possible to change, play game and write a report and submit the FHSAA.

Make sure fields are marked properly with coaching areas and keep coaches inside them during the match.

Discussion on substitutions informed all in attendance that substitutions must not be made from the bench and we also discussed when substitutions would be allowed.  Water break is mandatory per FHSAA rules…please keep any negative thoughts to yourselves regarding water breaks.

Discussion on the operating of clocks at high school matches.  If a clock operator has an FHSAA clock operator card, they have been trained to operate clocks for all sports under FHSAA rules.  If you are going to keep official time on the field, discuss with the clock operator how you want them to run/stop clock during the match.

**Discussion on the definition of “taunting” was discussed amongst the group.  There was a split on certain actions could be deemed as taunting.  It was agreed upon by the association that excessive celebration after a goal may not be considered taunting, but the player(s) involved  would receive yellow/red for their actions if in the eyes of the referees, the action is not deemed to be taunting.

**A group discussion on the test and the wording of some of the questions.  David mentioned that 2 or 3 from our association may be asked in the spring to help in how the questions for next years test will be written.
